- What You Don't Need: No subscriptions, ads, mandatory account logins, batteries, or charging cables.
- Device Compatibility: Works on Android 12 and newer; iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, and newer (iOS 15+).
- Bottle Compatibility: Works with any bottle material (Metal, Glass, Plastic, Ceramic, etc.). Hot and cold liquids are both OK.
- Phone Cases: Standard plastic, silicone, leather, and rubber phone cases are compatible. Avoid metal cases and RFID-blocking wallets.
- Installation: Clean and de-grease the bottle surface with rubbing alcohol. Let dry completely. Apply the GWS Tag and press firmly. Center the optional Graphic Shield directly over the top and seal the edges. De-greasing is key for bottles with textured surfaces.
- Cleaning & Care: Dishwasher safe too on the top rack (Standard and Eco cycles only, avoid "Sanitize" or "Steam Clean" cycles). Hand washing with warm soapy water is always safe. Wait 24 hours after applying the tag before dishwashing to allow the adhesive to cure. Not microwave safe.
- Tap to Log Water: Unlock your phone, physically touch against the tag, and hold still for a brief second until the phone vibrates. (iPhones scan at the very top edge; Androids scan in the center-back).
- Durability: Designed to be BIFL (Buy It For Life) with industrial-grade components and temperature range -13F to +140F (-25C to +60C). GWS Graphic Shield recommended for maximum water protection.
